worth examining.

  • The Truth about Homosexuality: The Cry of the Faithful, San Francisco: Ignatius
    Press, 1996.  This is Fr. Harvey's second book, with more updated information than
    the previous one.  
  • Same Sex Attraction: A Parent's Guide, edited by John F. Harvey and Gerard V.
    Bradley, South Bend: St. Augustine's Press, 2003.
  • "Pastoral Care and the Homosexual" (not available; will be updated and reprinted
    soon)

    Morrison is a Catholic man who was a former gay rights activist.  This book is
    about his testimony and wisdom from the inside of the gay lifestyle.

  • Gerard J. M. van den Aardweg, The Battle for Normality: A Guide for (Self-)

    Clarke & Co., 1983.  This is a classic book in the area of treatment.
  • Jeffrey Satinover, Homosexuality and the Politics of Truth, Grand Rapids: Baker
    Books, 1996.  Satinover examines the issue of homosexuality from a scientific and
    psychological perspective, as well as the perspective from his Jewish faith.  His
    understanding of what genetics contributes and does not contribute brings clarity to
    a politicized area of science in the question of origins of homosexuality.
  • Stanton L. Jones and Mark A. Yarhouse, Homosexuality: The Use of Scientific
    Research in the Church's Moral Debate, Downers Grove: InterVarsity Press, 2000.
